Suprema’s BioMini Slim 2 scanner range is known for offering rich features in a nicely designed super thin package and BioMini Slim 2 does seem to deviate from the trend. It offers a host of cutting-edge technologies with a sleek design and super compact form factor.
First and foremost, BioMini Slim 2 is the world’s thinnest FBI PIV and FBI Mobile ID-certified FAP20 optical fingerprint scanner. The thickness of the optical sensor measures a mere 13.5mm. At 16.5mm x 21.0mm its platen size is way larger than what is required for being FAP20 certified.
Suprema has equipped BioMini Slim 2 with MDR (Multi Dynamic Range) technology, which makes sure that fingerprint image quality stay unaffected even in the harshest lighting condition. MDR technology makes BioMini Slim 2 immune to ambient lighting and it can uphold image quality even in 100,000 LUX direct light, which can be as intense as direct sunlight.
